MR21-05C drifting wave buoy observation in the marginal ice zone

Two SOFAR Spotter drifting buoys were deployed to measure trajectory and waves in the marginal ice zone during the MR21 Arctic Ocean expeditions on board R/V Mirai. The buoys were deployed on 17 and 18 September 2021. The buoys were deployed near the ice edge to measure the waves in the water near the old ice and in the freezing season.本数据集依托"未来"号科考船（R/V Mirai）执行的MR21北冰洋科考航次，部署了2台SOFAR Spotter漂流浮标（SOFAR Spotter drifting buoys），用于测量边缘冰区（marginal ice zone）内的浮标漂流轨迹与海浪参数。该批浮标分别于2021年9月17日、18日完成布放，布放位置紧邻冰缘，旨在获取寒季老冰周边海域的海浪观测数据。
