Transcriptomes of three russian Solanum tuberosum cultivars - 'Siverskij', 'Sudarynya' and 'Evraziya' - were sequenced. In addition, transcriptomes of Bintje cultivar, taken as a susceptuble control, and potato wild relative Solanum stoloniferum, were seqeunced. RNA samples were taken before inoculation with P. infestans isolate VZR18, and 24 hours after the inoculation. Potato plants were grown for 30 days at 22C under artificial light (16 h of light/8 h of dark) and air humidity of 70%.
