Dataset from the article Recovery of bioactive compounds from Cavendish bracts of Musa acuminata: sustainable valorization of residues from the sweetest banana in Brazil
收藏资源简介:
The dataset generated in this study comprises experimental results obtained from the extraction and analysis of bioactive compounds in banana inflorescence bracts. It includes quantitative data related to extraction yield, protein recovery, total phenolic content, and antioxidant activity (as measured by DPPH, ABTS, and FRAP). The dataset also contains kinetic data on the various extraction methods applied, including Microwave-Assisted Extraction (MAE), Pressurized Liquid Extraction (PLE), and Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SFE). Phenolic compounds were identified and quantified by High Performance Liquid Chromatography. The nonpolar fraction was analyzed by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS). Furthermore, it includes Eco-Scale evaluation and desirability calculations for antioxidant activities and total phenolic content.
