Evaluating conflict of interest and ethical concerns of randomized clinical trials: a systematic review

A systematic review and meta-epidemiological analysis were carried out with studies obtained from PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library. The included systematic reviews evaluated RCTs and provided COI disclosures. Ethical problems were assessed based on transparency in COI reporting, funding disclosures, and methodological norms. AMSTAR-2 was used to assess methodological rigor, and statistical analysis, such as Fisher's exact test and risk ratio calculations, were undertaken to determine the relationship between corporate funding and the favorability of systematic review conclusions.
