We have grown high-quality LRO films on STO (110) substrates and studied their transient photoconductivity (TPC) effect. The dependence of laser power and light energy of TPC was characterized, and they showed linear relationship. Under different air flow conditions, TPC shows different behaviors, which indicates that both the intrinsic photo-induced carrier accumulation and the extrinsic photo-induced thermal effect contribute to the size of TPC. LRO thin films will have many potential applications in the future preparation of optical switches, photodetectors and other optoelectronic devices.
