RNA-seq was used for the analysis of the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and differential metabolic pathways of AaCrz1 mutant compared to WT after 6 h of induction with cuticular wax of Zaosu pear. These results greatly enriched our understanding of the regulatory mechanism of AaCrz1 on A. alternata infection structure formation induced by pear peel wax signal, and this RNA-seq result provides data support for searching potential genes or proteins in A. alternata as targets for black spot disease control.
