This dataset contains data on the distribution of vascular plants compiled during preparation of the book series Flora of Slovakia: https://cbrb.sav.sk/en/laboratory-of-biodiversity-informatics-and-flora-of-slovakia/flora-of-slovakia/. Individual volumes of the series provide complex information on nomenclature, morphology, karyology, biology, phytosociology and ecology of plants occurring in Slovakia. Detailed distribution of individual taxa is shown via expert-curated maps. Distribution data acquired during this process are imported into the Database of the Slovak Flora and Vegetation - PLADIAS.SK (Kantor & Marhold 2024+ (eds)), which mediates publication of various vascular plant distribution datasets into GBIF.
