MicroRNA expression profiles predict the response to PegIFNα-2a treatment of Chronic Hepatitis B

The differential expression profiles of PBMCs microRNA pretreatment between the HBsAg loss group and the non-HBsAg loss group were constructed by using the miRCURYTM LNA Array (v.19.0)(Exiqon), the results were validated by qRT-PCR,all the expresison levels of selected microRNAs were consistent with the microarray results. The receiver operating characteristic curve was performed to estimate the predictive value of the selected miRNAs,indicated that microRNAs may be potential predictive biomarkers for PegIFN response. In the present study,identification cohort (n=20) and confirmation cohort (n=46) were conducted, the differential expression profiles of miRNAs were screened in the identification cohort by RNA microarray,composed of 10 HBsAg loss and 10 non HBsAg loss patients.qRT-PCR was used to validated the results of the microarray.The receriver operating characteristic curve and GO/Pathway analyses were preformed to evaluate their predictive values for PegIFN response.
