L-NAME-induced hypertensive mice were administered 2'-fucosyllactose-enriched yogurt to evaluate its potential antihypertensive and gut microbiota-modulating effects.

C57BL/6J mice were administered NG-Nitro-L-arginine-methyl ester (L-NAME, in drinking water) to induce hypertension. During the same period, mice received daily oral gavage treatments of 2'-fucosyllactose (2'-FL)-enhanced yogurt. Captopril was used as a positive control. The study aimed to evaluate the antihypertensive and gut microbiota-modulating effects of 2'-FL yogurt during hypertensive development.
