Searching for stress inducible architectural noncoding RNAs. Homo sapiens

This project aims to identify novel noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs) that act as structural scaffold of membraneless organelles in stressed cells. The ncRNAs called architectural RNAs (arcRNAs) exhibit remarkable semi-extractability during RNA preparation. Utilizing this feature, semi-extractable RNA sequencing was carried out using RNAs prepared from the cells treated with MG132, heat, low O2 or low serum to identify novel arcRNA induced under stress conditions.
