Earnings of domestic workers as a share of other employees worldwide 2019, by region

Worldwide, domestic workers are estimated to earn slightly more than half of what other employees do. The share was highest in Asia and the Pacific where it reached nearly two thirds of what other people do, compared to less than one third in Africa.
