This study interprets and analyzes the underlying surface geographic entity information of the lower Yangtze River region using Landsat satellite remote sensing data and 1km-resolution Chinese land use status remote sensing monitoring data. It identifies the variation characteristics of land use types in the lower Yangtze River region from 1985 to 2020, analyzes the land use structure and its changes in this region, and lays a foundation for the analysis of hazard-bearing body changes in the lower Yangtze River region.
