Freshwater biodiversity impacts of global hydropower dams

This repository contains derived and aggregated datasets supporting the figuresand analyses presented in the manuscript “Freshwater biodiversity impacts ofglobal hydropower dams”. The data include country-level summaries, grid-based statistics, and speciescategory transition tables used to generate the figures. Original third-partyspatial datasets (e.g., IUCN species range polygons, global dam location data,and other licensed spatial layers) are not redistributed due to licensingrestrictions. All provided datasets represent derived statistics and are sufficient toreproduce the analyses and visualizations reported in the study.
