This FAIRsharing record describes: The Journal of the National Cancer Institute Data Policy data policy requires all authors to follow the FAIR principles (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, Reproducibility) for data access as a condition of publication. Manuscripts must include a Data Availability Statement in their published article. Exceptions are allowed where data sharing is not possible under the existing consent or Institutional Review Board constraints.The Journal of the National Cancer Institute supports the Force 11 Data Citation Principles and requires that all publicly available datasets be fully referenced in the reference list with an accession number or unique identifier such as a digital object identifier (DOI). Data citations should include the minimum information recommended by DataCite. Journals adhering to this policy recommend 1) the resources listed directly within this record, and 2) all resources listed in this record's parent policies (see the "extends" relationship).
