Teaching Vietnamese Online: Research Report
收藏资源简介:
This report was prepared as part of a broader project investigating the design of a contemporary virtual teaching and learning model for the Victorian School of Languages (VSL). The wider project aims to identify evidence-informed approaches to online language education that can support learner engagement, interaction, feedback, assessment, and teacher practice across a range of languages. The present report focuses specifically on the teaching of Vietnamese in online environments. It combines insights from relevant research literature with practical observations derived from experience teaching Vietnamese online. While some of the discussion is specific to the linguistic and cultural characteristics of Vietnamese, many of the issues identified—such as learner engagement, pronunciation anxiety, feedback practices, vocabulary development, intercultural learning, and the balance between synchronous and asynchronous learning—have broader relevance to online language education.
