Diversity, composition and resilience of the hydroponic root microbiome

In this study, tomato plants were grown to maturity in a commercial-like hydroponic rockwool system and then treated with a Trichoderma-based biocontrol product. The root microbiome was analysed by 16S and ITS metabarcoding and compared with the rhizosphere of tomato plants grown commercially in soil.
