Transcriptomic profiling of hESC-dreived cardiomyocyte on Day 0, 2, 5, 9, 14 and 60 hESC-derived cardiomyocyte via Single cell RNA-seq. Overall design: To gain insight into the onset of cardiac lineage commitment, we performed single-cell RNA-sequencing (scRNA-seq) on over 7,500  cells captured across 6 key time points (Day 0, 2, 5, 9, 14 and 60) during in vitro cardiac differentiation of human ESCs, using a newly developed single-cell platform, ICELL8 (Takara). Here, we applied a widely used cardiomyocyte differentiation protocol3  that was reported to produce a population of more than 90% cardiac troponin T (TNNT2)-positive cardiomyocytes.
