Modeling surface Soil Moisture (SM) and Vegetation Water Content (VWC) Using the Maximum Entropy Production (MEP) Approach with SMAP L3 Enhanced Data

This dataset provides modeled estimates of soil moisture (SM; m³/m³) and vegetation water content (VWC; kg/m³) at five sites located in California and Oregon: California: Gold Creek, Baldy Village, Glendora Motorway Oregon: Juniper Creek, Fortynine The data spans the period from January 1, 2016 to January 1, 2019.Data was generated using the Maximum Entropy Production (MEP) approach as described in Wang et al., 2024.
