Mulberry is a common economic crop, and different mulberry varieties exhibit varying resistance to environmental factors. Understanding the differences in rhizosphere soil microbial community characteristics among different salt-tolerant mulberry varieties in saline soils is significant for the rational development and utilization of coastal saline soils. This study focused on two mulberry varieties: the salt-tolerant variety Guoxuan3 (GX3) and the salt-sensitive variety A18, both planted in the coastal saline soils of Zhejiang Province for five years. Idle soil without cultivated plants was used as a control. The physicochemical properties and soil microbial diversity differences of the different salt-tolerant varieties were analyzed using high-throughput sequencing technology.
