Dataset for: Vegetation-cover degradation associated with social housing expansion: A multi-temporal NDVI case study in northeastern Brazil

This repository contains the datasets and processing script supporting the study "Vegetation-cover degradation associated with social housing expansion: A multi-temporal NDVI case study in northeastern Brazil". The repository includes: (i) the Google Earth Engine JavaScript code used to calculate the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI); (ii) the NDVI dataset used in the statistical analyses; (iii) the final slope analysis products derived from Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) data; and (iv) documentation describing the repository contents. Sentinel-2 imagery and SRTM data are publicly available through Google Earth Engine.
