Ghedini, White & Marshall (2018) Metabolic scaling across succession: do individual rates predict community-level energy use? Functional Ecology

A series of data on the species composition of sessile invertebrate communities at different successional stages, community total mass and metabolism. In addition, there are species-specific metabolic rates, area-mass relationships, body size distributions and abundance for the three dominant species in the community (Pyura, tubeworms and Watersipora) which we used to estimate overall community metabolism.本数据集涵盖不同演替阶段下固着无脊椎动物群落的物种组成、群落总生物量与群落代谢相关的系列数据。此外，数据集还包含该群落中3个优势种（海鞘属Pyura、管蠕虫tubeworms、膜孔苔虫属Watersipora）的物种特异性代谢速率、面积-生物量关系、体型分布及物种丰度数据，上述数据被用于估算群落整体代谢水平。
