DHI DK-dybdemodel
收藏资源简介:
The Danish waters constitute an important framework for a wide range of human activities and represent a very important resource for the entire Danish society. Knowledge of the depths of the sea is therefore crucial and essential information, whether it concerns planning physical marine installations, setting up biological and physical models, or navigation at sea. Comprehensive depth data from the very coastal areas to the deepest waters are thus of great importance to Danish society. DHI has launched a depth model covering all Danish waters. Here we provide free access to a subsample of the model covering an area around the island of Anholt. The model is based on a combination of the latest available data sources with depth information for all Danish waters. The shallow and dynamic coastal areas down to approximately 10 meters deep are mapped based on DHI’s state-of-the-art satellite-based depth analyses using machine learning algorithms, optical satellite images (Sentinel-2 MSI, Sentinel-3 OCLI), and satellite laser altimetry (ICESat2). The SDB data layers are created from an ensemble of depth prediction using imagery from multiple dates to increase data accuracy. The spatial resolution in these coastal waters is 10 meters, which provides an unprecedented level of detail and accuracy for the coastal waters. For the deeper areas, the SDB data layer has been combined with the bathymetry model, Danmarks Dybdemodel, 50m opløsning, from the Danish Geodata agency[1] (resampled to 10 meter) and EMODnet Digital Bathymetry 2022[2] (resampled to 10 meter). Available is also supplementary data source file outlining data sources for each pixel in the bathymetry data layer. Data source classification: 1: digitized maps, 2: single beam, 3: multibeam, 4: historic sources, 5: interpolated, 6: SDB, 7: EMODnet. The Danish coastal zone is dynamic, and therefore, DHI will update the DHI DK-Depth Model when new and updated data sources become available, thereby ensuring a fully updated data basis for the entire Danish coastal zone.
