Global_1981-2021_4km_Improved_VHI_Index_and_Best_Contribution_Parameter

A global high-spatial-resolution annual improved VHI raster dataset for 1981-2021 were developed by combining meteorological, vegetation, and soil moisture information, , which significantly improved vegetation drought detection efficiency. It has a spatial resolution of 4km, a temporal resolution of 1-year. All data are in Geotiff format.Our drought datasets serve as a unique resource providing solutions to a variety of research communities including meteorology, geography, natural hazards and agricultural production study. The developed annual VHIopt dataset is free, open and persistent publicly available from this study.本研究整合气象、植被与土壤水分信息，构建了1981-2021年全球高空间分辨率年度改进型植被健康指数（Vegetation Health Index, VHI）栅格数据集，可显著提升植被干旱监测效率。该数据集空间分辨率为4千米，时间分辨率为1年，所有数据均采用GeoTIFF格式存储。本干旱数据集可为气象学、地理学、自然灾害及农业生产研究等多个科研领域提供独特的支撑资源。本研究生成的年度VHIopt数据集可免费、开放且持久地面向公众公开获取。
