Hydraulic Reconstruction of the Emme River (Switzerland) and Validation Against Historical Evidence from the 13 August 1837 Flood Event Described by Jeremias Gotthelf
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the input and output data used for the hydraulic reconstruction and simulation of the 13 August 1837 flood event along the Emme River (Switzerland). It includes a reconstructed digital elevation model (DEM) representing pre-engineered river conditions created with ArcGIS Pro Version 3.5.0 and QGIS Version 3.36.2, hydrodynamic simulation results generated with LISFLOOD-FP version 8.1, and the corresponding model input files. The file "emmeriver_dem1837" represents the DEM of the floodplain before any river corrections. It has a spatial resolution of 10m (EPSG2056). The other files are the LISFLOOD-FP parameter and boundary condtitions input files. Details of the simulations are available in the Masters Thesis:Kipfer M. (2026): Hydraulic Reconstruction of the Emme River and Validation Against Historical Evidence (1837).
