Size 71/2 in. by 51/4 in.; foll. 82. Five and seven lines in a page. A short Grammar, by (Ḥamîd al-dîn) Abu’l-Ḥasan ‘Alî b. Muḥammad b. Ibrâhîm ḌARÎRÎ 1 Ḳuhundunzî (or Bukhârî), who, according to Ḥ. Kh. (i. 338, vi.481), died A.H. 666 or 667. This work is generally called الصريري . It was printed at Lakhnau, A.H. 1262. Begins: الحمد لله رب العالمين ... قال الشيخ .... اعلم ان كلام العرب ينقسم على ثلثة اقسام اسم و فعل و حرف جاء لمعنى الخ. It is divided into chapters (باب ) and sections (فصل) . Well written. Numerous notes. Dated, 24th Ramaḍân, 960. Red lines round the pages. The first fol. has been supplied by a later hand. Cat. 235, xii. 1 الضريرى in all the MSS.; Ḥ. Kh. reads الضرير .
