This dataset contains the boundaries of the classified sites in the Île de France region. A listed or registered site in France is a natural area or a remarkable natural formation whose historical, artistic, scientific, legendary or picturesque character calls, in the name of the public interest, to preserve in the state (maintenance, restoration, enhancement...) and the preservation of all serious harms (destruction, alteration, trialisation...).
