Expression data of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) obtained from spinal entheseal tissues in groups of control and patient with ankylosing spondylitis (AS)

The osteogenic mechanisms of transcriptional regulation underlying human MSCs in syndesmophytes formation in AS are largely unknown. We show that RARB/TNAP promotes the abnormal osteogenesis of MSCs originated from spinal entheseal tissue involved in spinal ankylosis of AS To study the regulatory mechemism of abnormal osteogenesis in AS, we compared the transcription profiles of MSCs during osteogenic induction at day 0, day3 and day7 between group of normal control and pateint with AS.
