Dataset for 'Regionalized statistical estimation of probable maximum precipitation with uncertainty quantification across continental Chile'

This dataset contains the annual maximum daily precipitation (AMDP) series, station-level statistics and GEV parameters, Bayesian posterior samples of the regional frequency factors, posterior percentiles of the 24-h PMP, and a gridded regional assignment mask for 428 stations across continental Chile. Raw daily records were obtained from the CR2 database (https://www.cr2.cl/datos-de-precipitacion/), from stations operated mainly by the DGA and the DMC. All files are R-serialized objects (.rds); see README.txt for the detailed structure of each file. The dataset supports the paper "Regionalized statistical estimation of Probable Maximum Precipitation with uncertainty quantification across continental Chile".
