PM2.5-exposed rat lung tissue miRNA transcriptome

Rats (all weighing about 190g) were first anesthetized by placing them in a closed container. They were then fixed in the supine position, and their pharyngeal secretions were removed. A rat-specific laryngoscope was then inserted, and the pre-prepared 50 ul PM2.5 suspension was slowly injected. The control group was not treated. The low group (PM2.5-3.2 mg/ml), medium group (PM2.5-16 mg/ml), high group (PM2.5-80 mg/ml), and saline group were given equal volumes of saline. The rats were exposed once every two days for a total of 12 exposures. At the end of the experiment, the rats' lungs were removed for miRNA transcriptome analysis.
