mRNA-seq data of chicken hindlimbs after Alx4-overexpression

We conducted RNA-seq on chicken zeugopods after overexpression of chicken, mouse and human Alx4. The samples were divided into four groups: (1) overexpression of chicken Alx4(RCAS-cAlx4); (2) overexpression of mouse Alx4(RCAS-mAlx4); (3) overexpression of human Alx4(RCAS-hAlx4); (4) control samples injected with empty RCAS vectors. Each group contains three biological replicates. All 12 samples were constructed by injecting the corresponding viruses into the hindlimb buds of chicken embryos at Hamburger–Hamilton (HH) stage 17 and the zeugopods were collected at the HH30 for RNA-seq. The RNA-seq data enable us to identify gene expression changes and signaling pathways caused by overexpression of different species Alx4 during limb development.
