We have established an improved triple-porosity model to calculate the porosity exponent of fractured-vuggy reservoirs, based on the Maxwell-Garnett mixing rule. The improved model can be used to calculate the porosity exponent of three types of reservoir spaces: nonconnected vugs, fractures and matrix pores.
