Surface pre-reacted glass-ionomer (S-PRG) cement is set after mixing S-PRG filler and acrylic acid solution; this mixture induces tertiary dentin formation in pulpal tissue. However, the induction of tissue mineralization and the mechanism by which S-PRG cement influences pulpal healing remains unclear. This study aimed to evaluate the S-PRG cement-induced gene expression in human dental pulp stem cells (hDPSCs) as compared to mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA).
