Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation of the Square Enclosure at Aldham Mill Hill, Hadleigh, Suffolk, March 2019

This collection comprises images, a site plan, spreadsheets and a survey statement from the second phase of an archaeological evaluation of Land off Aldham Mill Hill, Hadleigh, Suffolk undertaken by Archaeology South-East in March 2019. The evaluation targeted the remains of a possible Early/Middle Iron Age square enclosure that had previously been identified in a trial-trench evaluation in April 2018. This second evaluation provided a better understanding of the form and dimensions of the enclosure ditch, as well as its stratigraphic relationship with a Late Roman ditch.
