The Beijing Short-term Nowcasting Precipitation In-situ Surface Environmental Data Service is a city-level short-term nowcasting precipitation monitoring system established to effectively address the impact of increasingly frequent extreme precipitation on urban safe operation. This product has strong scalability and is widely applicable to various industries such as government and meteorological early warning, which require short-term nowcasting precipitation in-situ surface environmental data for secondary production. Based on high-density multi-source sensing equipment deployed within Beijing, this product collects information including rainfall, temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure from the atmospheric environment, comprehensively generates Beijing's short-term nowcasting precipitation in-situ surface environmental data, and provides visual displays. This service can be applied to precipitation monitoring and early warning for infrastructure such as municipal road and bridge, municipal sanitation, urban rivers, gas facilities, rail transit, urban civil air defense and emergency rescue.
