respondent and future economic situation of the FRG (Katona questions);
satisfaction with what one has personally achieved; source used for
political information; frequency of political discussions; significance
of political work at the various political decision levels; sympathy
scale for political personalities as well as for the CDU/CSU, the SPD
and the FDP; party identification; image of CDU or CSU and SPD;
perceived party inclination of various institutions and social groups;
attention to politicians in the election campaign; the Berlin Crisis
and danger of war as well as desired federal chancellor; expected
election result; voting decisions at earlier Federal Parliament
elections and voting intent for the Federal Parliament election 1961;
time of voting decision.

Demography: head of household; marital status; occupation; employment;
age; school education; vocational training; regional origins; refugee
