Mersenne: A Sim2Real Benchmark for Musical Acoustics

This dataset aims to establish a sim2real benchmark for physicality retrieval of pluck string sounds.

It contains pluck string sounds recorded from a monochord device in a lab setting. All sounds are labeled by pitch, and only the sounds validated by the Mersenne Law are labeled by tension, linear mass and length of the string. The validated sounds are in mersenne24_realaudio_validated.h5, and the rest are in mersenne_realaudio_notvalidated.h5.
