In this study we determined the gene expression of the whole genome of V. cholerae during the interaction with THP-1 derived macrophages by RNA-sequencing. Overall design: V. cholerae was exposed to THP-1 derived macrophages in 12-well plates and RNA-samples were taken at different time points after start of the V.cholerae-macrophage interaction. Four independent biological replicates for each sampled time point are provided. As a control, samples containing only bacteria were taken.
