We investigated the dynamics of bacterioplankton communities in 218 samples collected in Lake Geneva from August 2019 to December 2020. We conducted time-series 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing of bacterioplankton communities along a water column from the surface to 100 meters deep. Samples were collected from LeXPLORE platform (Lausanne, Switzerland).
