Human CD4+ T cells were left untreated or stimulated with 5 μg/ml plate-bound anti-CD3 antibody (clone OKT3, 14-0037-82, eBioscience) and 10 μg/ml soluble anti-CD28 antibody (clone CD28.2, 14-0289-82, eBioscience) for 6 h in RPMI1640 medium supplemented with 10% FBS, 1% L-glutamine, and 1% penicillin-streptomycin.
