This CD-ROM is released in conjunction with World Soil Resources Reports No. 94: "Lecture Notes on the Major Soils of the World". In addition to the complete (hyperlinked) text of the book, it contains many additional pictures, a slideshow with a virtual tour of soils and landscapes and a typical soil profile for each of the thirty reference soil groups of the World Reference Base for Soil Resources.
