4.2 Donato Salone Archive – Selected Excerpts for the FILMUSP Project

Excerpts from the Carlo Savina Archive for the FILMUSP (Music Publishing and Film: : Toward a Production History of the Soundtrack in Italy) Project.
The dataset consists of one 43-page .pdf file (DANIELI - Fondo Donato Salone FILMUSP) containing archival descriptions (location, inventory, contents) of 50 folders out of the 432 preserved in the Donato Salone Collection, including full or partial transcriptions of: contracts between publishers, producers, and composers; letters of appointment; SIAE music cue sheets; autograph annotations on working scripts and scores; recording plans and production sheets; notes concerning rights, revenue sharing, transfers, and international exploitation; invoices. The documentation concerns films, productions, and records from the mid-1950s to the early 1980s involving Donato Salone.
