Acinetobacter baumannii is an important nosocomial pathogen that is easy to be resistant to multi antibiotics. Multidrug-resistant (MDR) A. baumannii isolates are a great challenge to clinics, and they have strong ability of biofilm formation. Ab44 is a clinical MDR strain which can form strong biofilm. Investigation of its genome is helpful for exhibiting the charateristics of this strain.
