N is the survey sample size used in our analysis. U5MR is the under-5 mortality rates by age five for each survey. Non-poor deaths (NPD) is the fraction of deaths from the top 80% wealth quintile. DRC is Democratic Republic of Congo, DR is Dominican Republic, and CAR is Central African Republic. The first quintile is the poorest births and the fifth quantile is the richest births.
