Genome sequence and annotation of the medicinal plant Tropaeolum majus

A high quality genome sequence of Tropaeolum majus L. (Tropaeolaceae; Accession TRO1, ID 47139 from Genebank Gatersleben of the Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research, Germany) is presented together with predicted polypeptide sequences and a functional annoation. The genome sequence was assembled based on ONT long reads using NextDenvo. GeMoMa was used for the annotation of protein encoding genes.
