Frog Friendly face for our local Jum Rum creek

This project proposes rainforest habitat restoration for the critically endangered Kuranda tree frog in our local Jum Rum creek. The creek banks are largely on private land and only a small portion is protected. Many residents are unaware of the locality and vulnerability of this frog and the impact of actions upstream, particularly siltation from soil erosion. Involving the community, creek adjacent landholders, especially local kids and teenagers, in on-ground conservation measures to reduce these hazards will provide a direct link to assist in the future viability of this frog population.
