NOTE: This table covers the survey of all corporations having their head offices in Japan proper, regardless of their types and industries. And it is also based on their principal business for those corporations having more than two types of bussiness. The number of companies is at the end of the year. The paid-up capital, contribution, debentures, and reserves are of the current value at the latest financial period in the year for those companies. Net profits, dividend, and net losses are of the settlement of account in the previous year. Limited Companies include mutual companies and limited partnership companies.
