Whole genome sequencing of Vibrio navarrensis strain W2D, isolated from hepatopancreas of diseased Macrobrachium rosenbergii

Vibrio navarrensis is a Gram-negative bacterium belonging to the Vibrio genus. W2D strain was isolated from the hepatopancreas of diseased freshwater prawns (Macrobrachium rosenbergii) exhibiting signs of slow growth and high mortality. This Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) project aims to investigate the genetic basis of its pathogenicity and antimicrobial resistance, providing valuable genomic resources for understanding vibriosis in aquaculture.
