资源简介:
To understand the use of intertextual resources (sayings and stories) in Chinese opinion essays (yilunwen) in the context of Hong Kong, multiple sources of data were collected in this study, which can be categorized into textual data and interview data. Textual data consist of six types: 1) Chinese Language curriculum documents, 2) Chinese Language textbooks, 3) composition guidebooks, 4) the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) Chinese Language Paper 2 scripts, 5) the HKDSE Chinese Language Question Papers (with marking schemes and comments on candidates’ performance), and 6) learning materials shared by participants (e.g., extracts from students’ notebooks). The interview data consist of semi-structured interviews with 31 participants, including 2 teachers and 29 students.Transcripts of the 31 interviews are submitted to the DataHub for the University’s retention. As for other data, composition guidebooks will be donated to a campus library. The following types of data that were borrowed have been returned to a campus library: Chinese Language curriculum documents, Chinese Language textbooks, and the HKDSE Chinese Language Question Papers (with marking schemes and comments on candidates’ performance). To comply with the terms of use, the rest of the data was not uploaded.
