Detection of pathogens and ticks on sedentary and migratory birds in two Corsican wetlands (France, Mediterranean area)

The aims of this study were (i) to identify and determine the ectoparasite species in birds sampled from Corsican wetlands and to (ii) to investigate the potential occurrence of zoonotic and non-zoonotic pathogens in birds and in their ectoparasites in Corsican wetlands.
