Pectobacterium versatile transcriptome profiling

Pectobacteium versatile is a versatile plant pathogen that can adapt to different environments, including its various host plants. To find out the role of the PhoPQ two-component system in such adaptations, we performed transcriptome profiling of two strains of Pectobacterium versatile: the wild type isolate derivative and its phoP mutant. Both strains were grown in synthetic minimal medium to mid-log phase. Four samples were analysed for each strain.
